Remembering Raymond A. Beaudoin III: A Pillar of the Rochester Community

Celebrating the Life and Legacy of a Devoted Family Man and Business Owner

Exclusive

Raymond A. Beaudoin III, affectionately known as Rick, passed away peacefully on August 22 at Wentworth-Douglas Hospital.

Born on April 30, 1953, to Raymond A. Beaudoin Jr. and Grace Youngren, Rick was a lifelong resident of Rochester, NH.

He shared 53 loving years with his high school sweetheart and wife, Judith Grant.

Rick's warmth, quick wit, and unwavering dedication to his family left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

As the owner of Ray Beaudoin & Sons, a family business that served the Rochester community for 85 years, Rick was a cornerstone of local commerce.

His passion for boating and scuba diving led him and Judy on numerous adventures to the Caribbean and Mexico.

Rick is survived by his wife Judy; his mother Grace Youngren and stepfather Jim Youngren; his daughter Sarah Beaudoin and her partner Mark Gautreaux, along with their children Gus and Ingrid, and Mark's children Lucien and Melisande, whom Rick embraced as his own grandchildren; his son Andrew Beaudoin, his wife Priscilla, and their sons Noah and Daniel.

He also leaves behind his brother Steven Beaudoin and his wife Sherry; sisters Pam Thompson and her husband Barry, Terri Melville, and Linda Woodward.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 29, at 10 a.m., followed by a service at noon at R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home in Rochester.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a charity of your choice or performing an act of kindness in Rick's memory.

Rick's legacy as a dedicated family man and business owner will be remembered fondly by the Rochester community.
